What Is Hyperdilute Radiesse?

Hyperdilute Radiesse is an advanced, off-label use of Radiesse — an FDA-approved biostimulatory filler. When Radiesse is diluted with saline and lidocaine, it creates a smooth, spreadable solution that can be injected superficially across larger body areas to stimulate collagen and elastin production without adding significant volume.

Unlike traditional dermal fillers that add volume to specific areas, hyperdilute Radiesse works by dispersing calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) microspheres throughout the skin, triggering your body's natural regenerative response. The result is gradual, natural-looking improvement in skin quality, firmness, and texture.

Key Difference

Standard Radiesse is used as a volumizing filler. Hyperdilute Radiesse is diluted and spread across broad areas to improve skin quality — not add volume.

How It Works

Step 1: Superficial Injection

The diluted Radiesse solution is injected using fine needles just beneath the skin's surface across the treatment area using a precise grid technique.

Step 2: Collagen Stimulation

CaHA microspheres create a scaffold that stimulates your fibroblasts to produce new collagen (Type I and Type III) and elastin — your skin's natural building blocks.

Step 3: Progressive Improvement

Over the following weeks and months, new collagen and elastin remodel the skin from within — improving firmness, elasticity, and texture. The CaHA microspheres are gradually absorbed by the body, leaving behind healthier, stronger skin.

Treatment Areas

Hyperdilute Radiesse can be used on multiple areas where crepey skin and laxity are concerns

Neck

Smooths horizontal neck lines and tightens crepey neck skin for a more elegant profile.

Décolletage / Chest

Restores smoothness and firmness to the delicate skin of the upper chest area.

Arms

Improves skin laxity and crepiness on the upper arms for more toned-looking contours.

Above the Knees

Tightens loose, crepey skin above the knees for smoother, more youthful-looking legs.

Rejuvenates aging hands by improving skin thickness, texture, and overall appearance.

Additional Areas

Buttocks, abdomen, and other areas with skin laxity can also benefit — ask during your consultation.

What to Expect

Downtime: Minimal

Most patients return to normal activities the same day or next day. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or tiny injection marks that typically resolve within 24-48 hours. Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours post-treatment.

Results Timeline

Initial improvement in skin texture may be noticeable within 2-4 weeks. Progressive collagen remodeling continues for 3-4 months after treatment, with full results visible at approximately 4-6 months. Results can last 12-18 months.

The Procedure

The treatment area is cleansed and numbing cream may be applied. Using a fine needle, the hyperdilute Radiesse solution is injected in a precise grid pattern just beneath the skin's surface. The entire appointment typically takes 30-60 minutes depending on the size of the treatment area.

Treatment Protocol

Optimal results typically require a series of 2-3 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments once or twice per year help sustain and build upon your results over time.
